Data Engineer
The primary functions of this position are to research, design, and implement telecommunications equipment projects for client companies. This position is focused on the data networking side of Telecommunications. Duties may include installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of various Wide Area (WAN) network technologies such as DHCP, advanced IP routing and switching, ATM, RADIUS, Network Security, content filtering, as well as network performance monitoring and Intrusion Detection systems. A successful applicant can expect hands on projects with Linux servers, Cisco routers, Juniper routers, as well as broadband RAS devices.

Successful applicants should have an applicable degree from a technical institution, university, or applicable experience in engineering. A basic knowledge of the telecommunications industry is a plus, but not required.

Outside Plant Resident/Inspector
The primary functions of this position are work with the client's Outside Plant (OSP) Contractor to ensure that the OSP project is being constructed according to the Vantage Point Engineer's Plans and Specifications and conforms to the project's contractual requirements. In addition, the OSP Resident/Inspector is responsible for keeping detailed construction notes for the project as it progresses. The OSP Resident/Inspector also performs OSP route staking and reviews project construction maps. Onsite travel is required.

Successful applicants should have good communications skills and basic PC skills. A basic knowledge of the telecommunications industry is a plus, but not required.

Engineering Technical Assistant
The primary functions of this position are to assist the engineering staff with various technical project functions including the preparation of project drawings, research of vendor products, preparation of contracts, and assistance with project management functions. Duties may include preparation of equipment layouts, creation of timelines, creation of action registers, assembly of data requests, assembly of Plans and Specifications, assembly of contract documents, and perform equipment inventories. These activities are performed under the guidance and direction of a licensed Professional Engineer (PE).

Successful applicants should have applicable experience with technical support functions. A basic knowledge of the telecommunications industry is a plus, but not required.
